*If you have a middle ear issue or a conductive hearing loss, you will need to be referred to an otolaryngologist for further diagnostic testing before discussing amplification.

Hearing Aid Services

We work with multiple Manufacturers to provide the most unique experience to each individual client.

Discussing your lifestyle, hobbies and physical limitations allows us to recommend the best hearing aid to suit you, personally.

We work with many manufacturers including Oticon, Unitron, Starkey, Widex, Bernafon, GN Resound, Siemens and Phonak. If you're unsure of the manufacturer, stop by our clinic and have one of our knowledgeable staff have a look at it!

Hearing Aid Trials

Try our hearing aids for You should know you need something before you invest financially. We take the worry of not knowing if you are ready for hearing aids by letting you try our hearing devices for up to a month.

We also have a 2 month return/exchange policy. If you are unsatisfied with your recent purchase, you can return the device or switch to another style or manufacturer.

Hearing Aid Repair and Adjustments

If you bought a hearing aid at another clinic, we can repair it and adjust it for you. The exception is it needs to be one of the following manufacturers:

Oticon, Siemens, Bernafon, Starkey, GN Resound, Widex, Unitron, Phonak.

Some hearing aids over 5 years are unable to be fixed due to the limitation set with the manufacturers. It's best to make an appointment to see if we are able to help!

Augmentative Communication

The owner and clinician at Battlefords Hearing Centers is fluent in American Sign Language and is an ally in the Deaf Community. If a patient prefers communication by ASL or PEC cards, We are more than happy to accommodate. We also are wheelchair accessible and will see patients with various disabilities.

Video Otoscopy

Includes a visual inspection with a high tech otoscope capable of taking picture and video.

Ear Wax Removal

Our staff have obtained a certificate in Advanced Cerumen Management and we have 5 methods of ear wax removal.

• Q-tip ®,
• Curette, - Forceps,
• Lavage/Irrigation
• Vacuum procedures.

We recommend putting olive oil or oil recommended from your family physician in your ear a few days before coming in for ear wax removal as the wax needs to be soft.
